Let us look at eczema in more detail.

Eczema is a skin condition characterized by swollen red skin with rashness and itchiness. Dry and sensitive skin is prone to eczema. Dermatologist agree that pure coconut oil can keep eczema at bay. Coconut oil is extracted from fully grown coconut which are dried and compressed. Our body does not have inflammatory response to this oil.

Clinical studies on coconut oil confirm the therapeutic compounds, nutrients and vitamins. It is full of natural anti-microbial,fungicidal,  anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial properties. It also contains vitamin E and vitamin K nutrients that are essential for a healthy skin.

Application of Coconut oil for eradicating Eczema

Coconut oil is an extraordinary moisturizer for eczema affected dry skin. The skin absorbs the oil so well that it doesn’t leave a greasy effect. Coconut palms grow in plenty in tropical and coastal areas. The oil production takes place in a large scale too. In these areas, coconut oil always remains as in a liquid form. It is not difficult to apply the semi solid liquid on your skin.

Process 1: Direct application of coconut oil

Step 1: Pour enough coconut oil on your palm

Step 2: Apply it as a thin layer on eczema affected areas, as you do with lotion

Step 3: Let the skin absorb the oil completely.

Step 4: An after bath application of oil is more soothing to the damaged skin.

Step 5: For mild eczema, repeat the process twice a day.

Process 2: Coconut oil bandage

This process is effective to heal rough dry and broken skin caused by eczema. Oil bandages in affected area can soothe and cure the problem in no time. It prevents night time itching and gives a sound sleep.

             spot.

Step 5: Wipe out the excess oil using the tissue paper

Step 6: Tie a bandage around the affected spot.

Process 3: Coconut oil massage

Reddish dry and rough skins are the first symptoms of eczema. Let’sLive coconut oil massage at an earlier stage can effectively stop eczema from spreading. Oil massage also reduces the number of dry eczema patches.

Step 4: Gently massage the oil in a circular motion
Step 5: Allow 30 minutes and let the skin absorb the oil
Step 6: Rinse off the oil with warm water and any mild soap.

Process 4: Coconut oil bath

Adult with violent eczema flare ups all over the body can use this method. A refreshing warm water bath with Let’sLive coconut oil can reduce irritation and reverse it to normal skin.

Necessary items : Let’sLive coconut oil - 5 teaspoons, warm water, lavender or tea-tree essential oil, bath towel

Step 1: Add the Let’sLive coconut oil to the warm water
Step 2: Pour your chosen essential oil into it

The above mentioned processes can effective cure an existing condition of eczema and prevent them from reoccurring. One condition to be aware is that the coconut oil has to be pure and free of chemicals and other harmful residues. So it is best to get organic coconut oil. Also make sure that the coconut oil is cold pressed i.e., it is not heated as it changes the composition of the oil.
